About BhangarBazaar
BhangarBazaar is India's trusted online scrap marketplace — built to make selling scrap as easy as ordering a cab. We connect households and businesses directly with verified, local Bhangarwalas for free doorstep pickup, transparent pricing, and instant payment.
Our Mission
India generates over 62 million tonnes of solid waste every year. A significant portion is recyclable — paper, metal, plastic, electronics — yet most of it ends up in landfills because the informal recycling chain is fragmented, unorganised, and opaque.
BhangarBazaar was founded to fix this. By digitising the kabadi trade, we give scrap sellers access to verified collectors with fair, market-linked rates — and give Bhangarwalas a steady, trust-built customer base. Every kilogram recycled through our platform is a step toward a greener, circular economy for India.
What We Stand For
Transparency
Every rate is market-linked and shown upfront. No hidden deductions — you see the weight and price before agreeing.
Verified Collectors
Every Bhangarwala on our platform is manually reviewed and verified before they can accept an inquiry.
Eco-First Recycling
We partner with certified, MoEF-compliant recyclers to ensure scrap is processed responsibly and not dumped in landfills.
Privacy Protected
Customer phone numbers and emails are never publicly displayed. All contact is brokered through our secure platform.

How We Work
BhangarBazaar is a marketplace — not a logistics company. We maintain a directory of verified Bhangarwalas across India and provide the tools for customers to contact them safely and efficiently.
- ✓Bhangarwalas apply and are vetted before being listed.
- ✓Customer inquiries are routed privately — phone numbers stay hidden.
- ✓All transactions happen directly between the customer and the collector.
- ✓We do not take a commission on scrap sales — the service is free for users.
- ✓Both parties can leave feedback, maintaining quality and trust on the platform.
